The World is Filled with the Signs of Revelation
Revelation is the last book of the New Testament. It is filled with prophecy, telling us what will occur in the End of Days — the time immediately preceding the return of Christ. As we are now in the End of Days, we can see evidence of the fulfillment of some prophecies and the signs of prophecy yet to happen.
The End of Days began when Christ himself opened the First Seal. In Revelation 6:1-2, it says:
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
The rider on the white horse represents those who are working to bring about the rise of the Anti-Christ. Satan is a liar and the father of lies — he poses as an angel of light. In a similar fashion, the Beast and his agents will put on a virtuous guise as they fight to accumulate political power, and make advances on their political agenda. Once you understand the political goals of the Beast, you will see that the media is filled with the propaganda of the Beast and his agents.
War and violence has engulfed large areas of the Middle East and Africa — civil wars, sectarian conflict, and outright war between nations. In Revelation 6:7-8, it says:
And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
A quarter of the world has now been engulfed in death and suffering — Death and Hades have indeed been set loose upon the world. Also, in these conflict zones of the Middle East and Africa, Christians have been suffering — church burnings, physical attacks, and mass killings have become all too frequent. In Revelation 6:9-10, it says:
And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
Looking at our world, there is enough evidence to argue that Christ has already opened the first five seals. While we can see the signs of prophecies already fulfilled (many prophecies are ongoing events, set to intensify), the world is also filled with the signs of prophecy yet to come.
Global warming, as it intensifies, will help bring about a number of prophecies. In Revelation 8:8, it says:
The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
Forest fires are already increasing in frequency and in magnitude. This trend is set to only worsen until 1/3 of the world’s forests burn. Rising temperatures will also increase the frequency and magnitude of blue green algae blooms until 1/3 of the world’s drinking water is poisoned. In Revelation 8:10-11, it says:
And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
11And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
Man and society will be thrown into turmoil as the natural world burns from the affects of catastrophic global warming. This chaos will trigger a war among the nuclear powers that will kill 1/3 of the world. In Revelation 9:13-15, it says:
And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
However, no matter how horrendous these events become, it pales in comparison to what awaits the survivors — the rise of the Anti-Christ. In Revelation 13:1, it says:
And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
The Beast and his agents are currently waging a war against the sovereignty of nations, in their quest for secular power. He will first rise to power over a superstate comprised of 10 politically merged nations. The Beast will continue to wage his war against the sovereignty of nation states until his dominion extends across the globe. However, the Beast’s ambitions go beyond secular power. In 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, Paul tells us:
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
The Anti-Christ will rebuild the Jewish Temple on the Mount (i.e. the temple of God). Once built, he will enter it and declare himself the Jewish moshiach. He will command the world to worship him as God. Revelation tells us save those whose name are written in the book of life, the whole world will bow in worship to the false Jewish moshiach.
We can already see harbingers of these prophecies. You only need to know where to look.
