Russian wheat bonanza
Russia has been enjoying record wheat harvests in recent years, and this past growing season has been the most bountiful yet.

Both America and Australia, historically the leading global wheat exporters, are suffering from poor wheat harvests due to drought. However, the record Russia crop has kept global wheat prices at relatively low price levels. This creates a problem for a straight forward interpretation of Revelation 6:6-8, where it says:
And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
The above prophecy most generally foretells of a massive spike in grain prices (a measure of wheat for a penny represented a 10 fold increase at the time of the prophecy). In recent years, the world has been experiencing record grain harvests which has driven prices to levels that are anything but expensive. For now, we have been forced to assume that the prophecy can be considered fulfilled given how despite the government statistics, which claim inflation is ‘too low’, the realized costs of living (higher prices for all the things people must buy and lower wages received for work done) are skyrocketing (medical care, rent, cost of a home, cost of education, fresh fruit and vegetables).
This illustrates the importance of the Sixth Seal, in that its opening will result in a natural phenomena that will be unequivocally spectacular. Should this natural event be, as we argue, the eruption of a supervolcano, it will eliminate any doubt that we are indeed in the End of Days.
Economic policies of the End of Days
We have argued that the agents of the Beast seek to undermine the economic foundation of democracy by waging war on the middle class. In the name of ‘globalization’, companies were encouraged to shift production to foreign locations. NAFTA pushed tens of thousands of manufacturing jobs to Mexico. China was allowed to take both technology (through illegal hacking of corporate proprietary knowledge and through forced technology transfer) and jobs, as corporations were allowed to freely transfer production overseas, and were even given special customs tax breaks to further encourage the movement of production to China. This has resulted in the crushing of the blue collar worker through the massive loss of manufacturing jobs. To further undermine both the middle and the lower class, unfettered illegal immigration was unleashed, resulting in millions of illegal immigrants flowing into the country. This suppressed the wages at the lower end of the spectrum, as these illegal workers would compete for low paying jobs, anchoring wages to the lowest possible denominator. To add insult to injury, the government allowed the high tech industry to import tens of thousands of technology workers for third world countries to suppress the wages of computer programmers and other technology related jobs, through the H-2B visa program. Despite stocks at record highs and supposedly low unemployment, the working class can still barely make ends meet.

According to one report, 97 million full time workers in America are only just getting by, living paycheck to paycheck. The agents of the Beast would distract the workers by saying minimum wages are too low or imply that its because of racial discrimination, while at the same time continuing their policies of ‘open border’ immigration, expansion of the H-2B program, and tolerance of job exportation.
The destruction of the middle class is a goal of the Beast and his agents, as it will weaken the economic foundation of democracy, and allow him to destroy democracy when he rises to power.
Politics and Satanic Influence
This site often refers to those who are the ‘agents of the Beast’. This term generally refers to anyone who is actively supporting and working towards the political and cultural agenda that will help the Anti-Christ rise to power. However, these ‘agents’ can be divided into two broad categories. Many of these agents are Jewish people who believe they are doing their religious duty, by working to help bring about the rise of the moshiach — the Jewish secular messiah. In their minds, they believe they are righteous by working for the supremacy of Judaism (which means the destruction of Christianity and Islam) and the destruction of the nation-state (as the moshiach will be the political leader of the whole world). There must also surely be a small minority, who have the same goals, but it is because they know that they are working to bring about the rise of the Anti-Christ, to whom Satan will give his own powers in order to rule over the world in the End of Days. Perhaps we can finally see a glimmer of this group.

In a theme to be explored at a later time, I will argue that these two groups are represented in Revelation. The Jewish people working for the rise of the secular Jewish messiah are seen as the Whore of Babylon sitting astride the Beast (the Anti-Christ and his Satanic followers). In the end, the Beast will thrown off the Whore and tear her to pieces. When the Temple is rebuilt on the Temple Mount, the Beast will claim it for his own and command the world to worship him as God — this will serve as the ultimate betrayal of the Whore.
