We have argued that a catastrophic supervolcano eruption could fulfill certain prophecies found in Revelation — Revelation 6:12 and 8:12. Scientific research has linked a high level of global volcanism to the melting of land ice in Antarctica and the Arctic — which is occurring now. We have based our speculation on this research.
This past week, the Japanese government has raised their eruption alert warning on Sakurajima, a supervolcano that is located on the island of Kyushu, in Japan —
The warning level is now at its second highest level, as the government warns of an extremely high chance of a major eruption. Though I cannot but help believe that a catastrophic eruption of a supervolcano in America would better serve to fulfill Revelation 6:12, an equivalent eruption of Sakurajima, would also do the trick.
Should such an eruption occur, then the implication is that the world has progressed much further into the End of Days than originally thought — and would mean that events will accelerate sooner than expected.
