In 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, we are told that the Beast, aka Anti-Christ, will enter the newly built Jewish Temple and proclaim himself God:
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
At present, such a thing would seem both preposterous and impossible, so we must ask ourselves, what must first occur in order to make this prophecy possible?
I would argue that the first prerequisite would be the creation of the European-based mega-state, comprised of 10 politically merged nations. The Beast will rise to power to become the leader of this mega-state, in his pursuit of ultimate secular political power, as prophesied in Revelation 13:1-2,
And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
As the leader of this mega-state, the Beast will be in the position to use his political power to simultaneously bring peace to Israel and allow the Jewish Temple to be rebuilt on the Temple Mount. The Beast can do this by inviting both Israel and the Palestinian territories to join his mega-state through a political merger. By having Israel and the Palestinian territories and peoples join the mega-state, the core conflict that is driving Muslim terrorism would be resolved — the mass media intentionally ignores the fact that it is the Israeli treatment of Palestinians that is the core issue driving global Muslim terrorism.
The Orthodox Jews would support such a merger if it was explicitly linked to the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount. The majority of Palestinians would support the merger if they were allowed to freely immigrate to the Europe, especially if they were given financial support and homes in a ‘Muslim zone’ in Germany (for over 50 years they have been forced to live in squalid refugee camps and the conditions in the Palestinian territories are not much better). This would be key as it is the fierce resistance of Palestinians in the West Bank that prevent the Israeli government from destroying the Al-Aqsa mosque, whose existence prevents the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple. The general public in Israel already support the idea of a political merger with the European Union. Public opinion polls show that the general population of Israel favors joining the EU by a wide majority (even without any linkages to Middle East peace or the rebuilding of the Temple).

Given this scenario, we can view the current mass migration into Europe with new light. Those in the EU who have been not only supportive of Muslim mass migration but have openly encouraged it, have a very precise political agenda. They will use this huge influx of Muslims to undermine the national sovereignty of EU member nations, which will help facilitate their goals of creating a mega-state. Also, the existence of a large, preexisting Muslim population will help reduce any European resistance to inviting Israel, Palestine, and any other Arab nation into the newly merged mega-state.
With the political merger of the mega-state, Israel, and Palestinian territories, the Beast will be in a position to rebuild the Jewish Temple. By doing this, he will prove himself to be both the Anti-Christ and the Jewish secular moshiach (aka anointed one), as both are linked to its reconstruction. Also, with Israel merged into his mega-state, the Beast will be able to lay claim to being ‘king of Israel’ (another prerequisite for laying claim to being the moshiach). As the new political leader of Israel, there will be nobody to stop him from laying claim to the reconstructed Jewish Temple, from which he will command all those under his power to worship him as God.
The prophecies of Revelation (and 2 Thessalonians) can give us a clear perspective on what is going on in the world. The signs of Revelation fill the news.
