I haven’t written anything for quite a while. It seems that some views will require some tweaking, so I just need time to see how things develop. In the meantime, perhaps it would be good to review a few past arguments, in light of recent events!
The world on fire
Revelations 8:7
This site has argued that global warming will serve as the hand of God, as it will directly, and indirectly, bring about certain prophecies found in Revelation. Especially for those who live in or next to the boral forest (which can be found mostly in Canada and Russia), this past summer has seen another horrific run of forest fires.

Though the western ‘news’ services will mostly report on the summer forest fires in the Canadian boreal forest, the Siberian forest fires will often be more extensive and severe — we just don’t hear much about them outside of Russia.

This site has argued that the first trumpet of the Seventh Seal (as quoted above) will manifest with the entirety of the boreal forest going up in flames. The prophecy says that 1/3 of the world’s forest will burn and not coincidently, the boreal forest represents 1/3 of the world’s forests! The summer fires we are now seeing are just a foreshadowing of the coming prophecy, which will happen in the not too distant future.
The Christ child

With the current El Nino (which means the little boy or Christ child, in English) expected to be the worst in recorded history (i.e. the resulting ocean surface temperatures will be the hottest on record), articles about the warming ocean temperatures are quite prevalent at the moment.
This site has argued that the oceans will heat up to such a degree that 1/3 of the world’s oceans will become engulfed in ‘red tide’ — i.e. toxic plankton that can turn the color of the ocean red. In doing so, the above prophecy will become fulfilled. There is also the chance that man will play a role in bringing about this prophecy. There have been private experiments where iron ore is dumped into the ocean, which causes massive plankton blooms. The thinking is that the plankton blooms absorb carbon from the atmosphere and then when the plankton dies, it takes that carbon to the ocean bottom, effectively removing and storing global warming gas on the ocean floor. Bill Gates, in the past, was quite active in various carbon removal experiments around the world, and there have been other advocates of such schemes. Should global warming spike to catastrophic levels, it will not be surprising to see various carbon removal efforts take place.
This site has argued that the melting of surface and sea ice in Antarctica has resulted in a disruption to the thermohaline circulation of the world’s oceans (Thermohaline circulation – Wikipedia), resulting in a self-reinforcing warming cycle of the world’s ocean temperatures. This warming cycle of the world’s oceans has also triggered other self-reinforcing global warming cycles. These cycles will eventually cause global warming to spike to catastrophic levels, thus bringing about certain prophecies of Revelation.
For those patient enough to get this far, some new thoughts!
Robots, AI, and a prophecy of Revelation
One would think that a document written 2,000 years ago would have nothing to do with the current drone/robot/AI boom the world is currently undergoing. However, one prophecy of Revelation may have indirect linkage!
Revelation 9:16-18 (New Life Version)
16 The army had 200 million soldiers on horses. I heard them say how many there were.
17 I saw, as God wanted to show me, the horses and the men on them. The men had pieces of iron over their chests. These were red like fire and blue like the sky and yellow like sulphur. The heads of the horses looked like the heads of lions. Fire and smoke and sulphur came out of their mouths. 18 One-third part of all men was killed by the fire and smoke and sulphur that came out of their mouths.
Discussions about this prophecy inevitably lead to China, given the large population of that nation. However, once I was properly corrected by a reader who said that the Chinese army is more like 2 million men, and nothing close to 200 million. However, now that we have entered the era of AI and drone/robotic warfare, it has become quite literally possible to field a massive 200 million ‘unit’ army, where a drone/robotic army is commanded by AI (well, maybe not quite possible yet, but it will be soon). China remains the single most likely candidate to create such an army, for a number of reasons. Anyway, so it looks like drones/robots/AI actually has found its way into the book of Revelation. Who would think that the Bible could be so futuristic!
Horns like a Lamb
Revelation 13:11-12
In regard to the secular Jewish Moshiach (aka messiah), it is believed that the prophet Elijah will be sent to help bring about the Moshiach’s ascendance to power. In Revelation, we are told that a second Beast will rise to aid the Anti-Christ’s rise to power. This site has argued that the Anti-Christ (aka the Beast) and the Whore of Babylon are both Jewish in nature. However, in regard to the second Beast, the false Elijah, it would seem that he will not be Jewish. The above prophecy says that he will have ‘horns like a lamb’. Within the New Testament, and even more so in the book of Revelation, the lamb is solely used a symbol for Christ (similarly, the dragon is that of Satan). This second Beast, this false Elijah, will actually be a very influential Christian religious leader, as denoted by the horns of a lamb (i.e. the outward appearance of a Christian). However, as he will speak as a dragon, the words he utters will be satanic in nature.
This site has recently begun speculating as to whether Pope Leo XIV may prove to be the second beast. I do find it strange that Vogue has written up positive articles about Pope Leo, as well as the Guardian (and other mass media ‘news’ services) publishing positive articles about the current Catholic church. Again, it is way too premature to rush to conclusions –but something just feels off.
Needless to say, hopefully we will all be celebrating the Marriage of the Lamb in heaven when this serious xxxx hits the fan!
