As the US elections draws near, America is truly at an important crossroads. There cannot be a more distinct choice — Clinton or Trump. We will know soon enough. On a side note, a passing thought came to mind when I read about the coming ‘supermoons’.

Due to quirks in the moon’s orbit around the Earth, the moon will be at its closest point to the Earth this November. This will cause the moon to look super big! Besides the visual effects, I would suspect (I haven’t seen any articles….) that the moon’s gravitational pull on the Earth will also be stronger than usual. This made me think of another recent piece of research published, which linked large earthquakes with full moons.

Researchers from the University of Tokyo determined that there was a link between high tides caused by the full moon and large earthquakes. This then made me think about research which I cited in other write-ups, that argued supervolcano eruptions are triggered by earthquakes which damage the ‘lid’ that covers the opening of the supervolcano.
We have argued that the next event to occur on the Revelation time line is the opening of the Sixth Seal. We have speculated that a supervolcano eruption would be the manner in which the opening of the Sixth Seal would be manifested, as Revelation 6:12-15 states,
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
It is impossible to predict when a catastrophic eruption of a supervolcano will occur –there hasn’t been one for tens of thousands of years. However, I would argue that the coming of the supermoons this November and December would be as good as time as any for such an eruption to occur. Like I said, just a passing thought…..
