Matthew 25: 1-13 says,

Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

2And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

3They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

5While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

9But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

12But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

We now wait for the rapture, where Christ will call us to heaven, in order to participate in the Marriage of the Lamb (Revelation 19: 6-9).  No one knows the exact time or day when the rapture will occur, but this site has made the argument that it will occur after the opening of the Sixth Seal and prior to the opening of the Seventh Seal.  We have also argued that the opening of the Sixth Seal is tied to the destruction of the Whore of Babylon and Babylon itself.  Should our arguments prove to be correct, then the rapture could be closer than anyone could hope for.

However, before the rapture occurs, Believers will need to hold fast to their faith and be prepared to endure the opening of the first six seals (5 have already been opened, so just one more to go).  Revelation 7: 15-17 tells us of God’s reward for those who endure:

Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

16They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.

17For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Especially those Believers who are in Babylon, you may need to endure much before the rapture.  Be wise and make sure you have enough oil to last, so that you can enter the marriage hall.
