I was browsing the internet, seeing if there was anything on Google about the concept of the Anti-Christ as a false Messiah.  I was surprised to see that there seems to be a similar notion found in Islam.  I am not sure how I feel about that, but as the idea came upon me prior to looking it up on Google, I am not bothered.
While doing this research, I stumbled upon a messianic judaism site.  I looked further until I found an article on the subject on the Atlantic site (http://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2012/11/kosher-jesus-messianic-jews-in-the-holy-land/265670/).  I was happy to see that there were Jewish people who had accepted Jesus as their Lord, and who understood that it need not impinge on their ethnic and cultural identity.  They seem focused on doing God’s work as they are very much aware of the nearness of the End of Days.  Their faith and bravery is inspiring.

Lastly, though I know I was being extreme in suggesting that people should consider leaving the states of New York and California for Texas (in a previous entry), I read an article that discusses the benefits of such a move (http://www.forbes.com/sites/danielfisher/2013/02/25/texas-dominates-the-best-cities-for-good-jobs/?google_editors_picks=true).  Seems like there are a lot of good jobs available there — as well as Seattle (I also suggested moving to states that border Canada).  I suppose going to Israel to work with the messianic Jews might be more productive than hunkering down in a bunker along the Canadian border (which some might be considering given some of the less than optimistic arguments made on this site).
