Dynamics of Sudden Acceleration of Global Warming
We have previously highlighted research that claims it is possible for global average temperatures to increase by 5 degrees Centigrade over a span of only 13 years. The research argued that this actually happened — over 50 million years ago. The trigger for this catastrophic spike in global average temperatures was the release of methane that was frozen in the Arctic. We could be witnessing the very same phenomena now.

The average atmospheric temperature in the Arctic region has been increasing at over twice the global average. Yesterday, the Arctic region was engulfed in a heat wave that saw temperatures rise over 20 degrees Centigrade from historical norms — and the heat wave lasted for an unprecedented period of time.
Should global average temperatures once again suddenly rise 5 degrees, it would serve as the direct and indirect driver of a number of prophecies found in Revelation. Keep on eye on the developments in the Arctic, as they point to the opening of the Seventh Seal.
Antarctica Ice Melt and the Sixth Seal
The ongoing melting of ice in Antarctica is accelerating according to recent NASA data. This is not new news, but NASA now has pretty satellite pictures which illustrate this phenomena.

It is interesting to note that there are two locales in Western Antarctica which shows a significant acceleration in ice melt. Previously mentioned research argued that volcanic activity was responsible for the increased melting in southwest Antarctica, which can be seen on the satellite picture. However, the same picture also shows a similar amount of melting in the northwest area of Antarctica. Could that also be driven by volcanic activity under the ice?
This phenomena is of interest to this site, as it could relate to the opening of the Sixth Seal. In Revelation 6:12-14, it says:
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
This site has highlighted research which shows a correlation between significant ice melt at the polar regions and a major increase in global volcanism. We have argued that the opening of the Sixth Seal will be manifested by the cataclysmic eruption of a supervolcano. The odds of such an eruption are considered quite low, however should the melting of the polar ice continue to accelerate, sparking a global rise of volcanic activity, then the possibility of a supervolcano eruption may very well increase. We would argue that despite the odds, such an eruption is possible at any time now, as we feel that the opening of the Sixth Seal is the next event on the Revelation timeline.
The Sixth Seal could be opened tomorrow, or 5 to 10 years from now. Only God knows.
The European Union joins with the Arab League
The EU has joined with the Arab League in condemning Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capitol. They want Jerusalem to be the joint capital of Israel and the future Palestinian state.

This site has speculated that once the EU transforms itself in a mega-state, comprised of 10 politically merged nation-states, it will seek to have Israel and the Palestinian territories similarly merge with it. Given this, the position of the EU on this issue is not surprising. Paul tell us (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4) that the Beast will need to have political control of Israel, so we can expect the EU to continue to work against Netanyahu and his Zionist policies.
