In Revelation 6:9-11, it is written:
And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
The ongoing going slaughter of Christians in the Middle East and Africa continues unabated.

Because of this, this site has argued that the 5th Seal has been opened. Death and Hades has laid claim to their dominion, which spans a quarter of the world, as detailed in Revelation 6:7-8,
And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
This site has argued that America unleashed Death and Hades, and gave them power over a quarter of the world by its attacks on the Muslim nations of Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and Syria. The chaos from those wars has spread to many parts of Africa, and now a quarter of the world has been caught up in societal upheaval. Unfortunately, the Christian minorities trapped in the dominion of Death and Hades are being slaughtered.
We have argued that the next event to occur in the timeline of Revelation is the opening of the Sixth Seal. Should we be correct in our speculation that the opening of that seal will result in a catastrophic eruption of a supervolcano in America, then the withdrawal of the American military from much of the world will mean that things will go from bad to worse.
Christ said that those who endure to the end, will be saved. The Christians of the Middle East and Africa are being sorely tested. Believers in the West should do what they can to help, for soon enough, they too will be tested.
