At a UN Security Council meeting yesterday, the US called for the imposition of a no fly zone over Syria. The US is seeking to stop the Assad regime from taking Aleppo back from rebel forces. Russia will not agree to any such initiative and will use their veto to prevent any UN resolution to support such a move. The question remains whether the US will push NATO into war with Russia, in order to establish a no-fly zone over Syria.
General Dunford, the Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staffs, has recently admitted that any attempt to establish a no-fly zone in Syria would required the US to enter into a war with Russia and Syria.
In Revelation 9:14-15, we are told:
14Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. 15And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
The Euphrates river originates in Turkey, and it runs through Syria and Iraq, before emptying into the Persian Gulf. I believe that events in this region will eventually trigger a global war, where ‘the third part of men’ will die. General Dunford confirms that all the pieces are now in place for such a war to start. Though I personally believe that it is not yet the time for such a war, still, the signs of Revelation fill the news.
