In Revelation 9:13-16, it is written:
And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
In the original language, the phrase is ‘two myriad of myriads’, which can be literally translated as 200 million, though it basically means a-heck-of-alot. It has been estimated that if you take all of the Chinese military and militia into account, the Chinese have 200 million people in uniform. However, they are nowhere near the Euphrates river — at the moment. This is changing, as the Chinese government is slowly but surely working their way west.

The Chinese government has launched their ‘Silk Road’ project, where they will build roads, railroads, and water transport infrastructure that will take them from China across Asia, to the Middle East. A map of the Ancient Silk Road gives a good visualization of what China is hoping to replicate.
China has already started a railroad project that will link it to Afghanistan and as the article linked above states, is also starting work on roads in Pakistan. If the Chinese military has a role to play in the prophecy quoted above, then they will continue their steady movement west. The fulfillment of this prophecy will take place after the Seventh Seal is open. Given this, we would expect China to make fast progress on their road westward. Perhaps they will draw near the banks of the Euphrates river within the next 5 to 10 years?
The news is filled with the signs of Revelation.
