Foreshadowing

In the upcoming coronation ceremony for King Charles III of England, all those watching will be invited to swear their allegiance to the newly crowned king.  It will be the first time this was ever done for the British monarchy.

I cannot help but see this as a foreshadowing of something far more nefarious.  Revelation tells us that when the Beast rises to his place of political power over the world, he will command all those under his dominion to worship him.

Revelation 13:7-8 says,

And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

8And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Of course, I am not saying King Charles is the Beast.  Rather, I see this as a first baby-step in grooming the world, to worship the Beast.  I can easily imagine that by using mass surveillance technology, the Beast will be able to hold a mass ceremony, where all those under his dominion will be required bow down to worship him.

Anyway, that is still far off.  I just wanted to share that tangential thought.  We are truly living in the End of Days.
