This would be a good time to revisit a post made years past. The past discussion was related to 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, which says:
Paul tells us that the “man of sin”, i.e., the Beast/Anti-Christ, will enter the “temple of God”, i.e., the newly rebuilt Jewish Temple, and declare himself God. Implicit in this scripture is that the Beast will pose as the secular Jewish moschiach, and after the Jewish Temple is rebuilt on the Mount, he will usurp it, as he lays claim to godhood. Furthermore, we are told that he will “opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God” – i.e., he will abolish all other religions (Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc.) and make his version of Judaism (i.e., where he is worshiped as the Jewish secular messiah) the sole religion in his dominion.
In order for the Beast to rebuild the Jewish Temple on the Mount, he will need to accomplish two things. First, he will need political control of Israel, as he will need to commandeer the Temple once it is rebuilt. This site has argued that the Beast will accomplish this by merging Israel into his 10-nation mega state. This would be made easier if Israel would become a member of the European Union. Currently, this is rather problematic, as Israel was founded and is currently governed by laws and policies driven by Zionism, where Israel is seen as a nation of Jews and a nation for Jews. For this very reason, American and European Jews are seeking to undermine and eventually eliminate Zionism from Israel – more specifically, this site has argued that the Whore of Babylon (the power behind the illegitimate Biden administration) and the Beast (the power behind the EU) are behind this move. This movement by the overseas Jews has triggered a civil war within the Jewish community. The Netanyahu administration is a coalition of conservative political parties, who very much believe that Zionism should remain the heart and soul of the nation of Israel. The civil strife triggered by the judicial reforms being pushed by the Netanyahu administration illustrates the ongoing conflict within Jewish society. This internal Jewish conflict is being played out in Europe and America for previously stated reason. Second, the Beast will need to relocate the Al-Aqsa Mosque – currently the Temple Mount is also the location of the Muslim holy site of Dome of the Rock (where the prophet Mohammed is supposed to have ascended to heaven). In exchange for the demise of Zionism and the ability to live anywhere in the EU, the Palestinians would need to agree to allow the Al-Aqsa Mosque to be relocated.
The irony is that should the Beast/Whore attain these political goals, it would actually bring about peace between the Jewish people and the Palestinians. Should Israel become a member of the European Union, and eventually politically merge with the future 10-nation mega state, it would mean that Zionism is no longer the ruling principle of the nation of Israel, as Israel would no longer be a truly independent nation-state. Palestinians could live in Jerusalem or Rome or Paris or anywhere in the EU. The Beast would secure agreement with the Palestinians to move the Al Aqsa Mosque in order to rebuild the Jewish Temple on the Mount. The Orthodox Jews and other supporters of Zionism would be rewarded with a rebuilt Jewish Temple and the restart of ancient Jewish religious rites (well that is what they will be promised) should they give up on the idea of Zionism. Israel would be at peace, and the Palestinians would be able to live normal lives –at least until the Temple is actually rebuilt.
Revelations (and 2 Thessalonians) tells us that eventually Netanyahu will fall from power, and the conservative political coalition that currently governs Israel will fall to the leftist European oriented political parties. Perhaps the current Hamas-Israel conflict will be a catalyst – or not. Whatever the time period, the prophecies relating to the End of Days tells us the direction that events will eventually take us.
