We had previously highlighted research about historical ‘mega-droughts’ in the western areas of the United States. One scientific researcher even asserted that the current California drought began years ago, and will continue for years to come. Recently, a NASA researcher reiterated some of the findings previously discussed work, and then took it one step further, arguing that global warming will bring about a mega-drought for the western half of America in 35 years — one that could lead to ‘ monster wildfires in southern Arizona and parts of California’.
We have made similar arguments for South America and Africa, in that research from different sources have predicted that those regions will be the first to suffer from a cataclysmic increase in air temperatures. Though there has not been any published research on how weather patterns will be affected in the Southern Hemisphere, Brazil is already in the grip of a prolonged drought. The role of high temperatures in a drought can be seen in California, as the higher than average temperatures there have worsened the drought conditions.
The NASA research also made one other interesting argument, saying that the mega-drought could come as early as within 35 years. I found this interesting as it is more consistent with my own argument that Christ will return by 2047, a hundred years from the birth of the modern nation of Israel.
God is showing the world the signs of His coming, as seen through the prophecies of Revelations. As Believers, we can rejoice that the return of Christ is drawing near.
For those new to this site, I would like to reiterate our arguments as to how this pertains to the prophecies of Revelation, in Revelation 8:7, we are told:
The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth, and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
Also in, later in Revelations 16:8, 9:
And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun, and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire
And men were scorched with great heat...
Revelations clearly states that in the End of Days, there will massive spikes in temperature and droughts, which will result in massive forest fires world wide.
I have argued that God could mystically cause the world to heat up and burn in some mysterious fashion, or He could show His sense of justice, in that man, with his own hands, will cause the catastrophes that will beset the world in the End Times.
