We have argued that the conflicts in Turkey, Syria, and Iraq will continue until it morphs into a global conflict, based on Revelation 9:13-15:

And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,  Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.  And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

Developments this week only strengthen this argument.  Turkey launched a tank led invasion into Syria, supposedly to push out ISIS but the Turkish army has been more focused on attacking Kurds than anyone else.  It appears that this is only the start of Turkish acquisition of Syrian territory as recent news indicate that they will push to Raqqa, the ISIS command center in Syria.

Given that Erodgan has explicitly said he seeks the overthrow of the Assad regime, any Syrian territory it captures will remain in anti-Assad hands.  The US military has similarly laid claim to a Syrian region, warning Russia and Syria that they will shoot down any aircraft approaching their zone.

America continues to seek the overthrow of the Assad regime, and now two NATO member nations have ground units inside of Syria.  America is seeking to use the threat of a war with NATO to intimidate Russia, and force them to pull out of Syria and the Middle East.  However, Russia knows that the real end goal is to build a pipeline through Syria which would link Europe to cheap Sunni Kingdoms’ (Qatar/Saudi Arabia) gas, which in turn would severe Europe’s dependence on Russian gas.  By severing this dependence, America would not only succeed in removing Russian influence over Europe’s economy, but it would also put a major dent into the finances of the Russian government.  The Russian economy is very dependent on its gas sales to Europe, and the economic recession that would follow the end of gas sales to Europe would surely sweep Putin from power.  For this reason, Russia will never back away from Syria.

America is pursuing an extremely aggressive foreign policy, spending trillions of dollars to overthrow the Muslim enemies of Israel and at the same time, seeking to destabilize Russia and the Putin regime.  Revelation tells us that a global war on a horrific scale is coming.  Current events indicate that it is American foreign policies that are driving us to that destination.
