This site has been arguing that the rate of increase in global temperatures must increase, in order to be the force behind certain prophecies in Revelation. We have argued this because the current scientific estimates for the rise in global temperatures to the degree needed to bring about prophecies in Revelations is 80 to 100 years from now — and we estimate that Christ will return much sooner. We have already identified a number of factors that have not yet been factored into current global warming models, so we are very confident that global warming will accelerate — and finally, there has been an article that has expressed similar thinking.

The reasoning and evidence presented in the article are still tentative in nature, but I felt ‘comforted’ by the fact that there are others who are thinking the same way (though their logic is not rooted in teachings from Revelation). I believe that in the near future, there will be more hard scientific evidence that will show an acceleration in global warming, and there will be global warming ‘spikes’ that will prove to be the manifestation of certain prophecies from Revelation.
