We have speculated on whether the first seal has been opened, and whether China represents the conquering first horseman. If so, we would then expect them to play a role in the unleashing of the second horseman — the Red Rider who brings war. A recent article in the USNI (http://news.usni.org/2014/02/18/navy-official-china-training-short-sharp-war-japan) reports that China is not only preparing to attack and capture the island in dispute, but also to attack and capture parts of Okinawa — territory that is undisputedly (no doubt China will claim some ancient right to the land) part of Japan.
Given that Revelation says that a massive army from the East will march upon the Middle East in the End of Days, we can be sure that China will move its armies westward (it is reported that they have already agreed to build a railroad for Afghanistan). However, the more immediate question is whether they will start a major war in Asia — and perhaps signal the unleashing of the Red Rider.
Given that we are talking about the prophecies of Revelation, the Red Rider will bring conflict on a global scale. The confirmation that the first two seals have been opened will be a major milestone — for it will confirm that the End of Days have indeed begun. When this occurs, it will become very important to prepare for the coming of the Black Rider and the Pale Rider.
As Believers, we will be blessed to be alive to see the fulfillment of the prophecies of Revelation and the fulfillment of God’s promises. However, we will also pass through the flames of the great tribulation that will prepare us to be servants of God in the coming millennium. Prepare yourselves.
